The Provider Behind the Practice

Hi, I'm Nalina - your PMHNP.

I became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner because I believe patients deserve a provider who is actually present - not just filling a prescription, but showing up for the whole picture.

I practice independently through Headway, providing telehealth psychiatric care across Wyoming. Whether you're a new patient or someone returning to care, I want this to feel like a real partnership.

A Little More

As a Wyoming-licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide telehealth psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy-informed treatment for patients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, mood instability, stress, trauma, and substance use concerns.

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and former travel RN with training in both medication management and psychotherapy. My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment.

I have experience treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, mood disorders, and substance use across adolescents, adults, and seniors. I believe care should feel collaborative, practical, and focused on helping you feel more stable and confident in your daily life.

My approach is compassionate and evidence-based. I use medication management when appropriate, while incorporating therapy-based tools - CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and others - to better understand patterns, goals, and barriers to change. We create a treatment plan together that feels realistic and tailored to you.

I practice independently through Headway, which means I manage my own schedule and patient relationships. There's no system pushing you through - just me, focused on you. All appointments are via telehealth, serving patients across Wyoming.

This blog exists because I believe informed patients get better care. I share mental health education, wellness tips, and honest insights - not medical advice, but the kind of content that helps you feel less alone in whatever you're navigating.

What Guides My Practice

My Approach to Care

💜

Real conversations

Every appointment is a genuine conversation - your words, your pace, your goals. No scripts, no rushing.

🧠

Education without overwhelm

Mental health should feel accessible. I explain what I'm thinking and why, without jargon or judgment.

🌿

Whole-person care

Medication management paired with a therapeutic lens - because you are more than a diagnosis or a checklist.

🤝

Consistency & follow-through

Building a real therapeutic relationship takes time. I show up for that, appointment after appointment.
