I provide psychiatric medication management for a wide range of mental health conditions.
How psychiatric medication management works
Psychiatric evaluation
Your first appointment is a thorough 60-minute evaluation. We review your symptoms, history, current medications, and goals. You'll leave with a clear clinical picture and - when appropriate - a plan.
Medication plan
If medication is appropriate, we'll discuss your options together. I explain what each medication does, what to expect, and what side effects to watch for. You're a partner in the decision, not a passive recipient.
Ongoing management
Regular follow-ups monitor your response, adjust dosages, and address any concerns. Psychiatric medication management is a process - and I'm with you throughout it.
Telehealth psychiatric care in Wyoming
Wyoming faces a significant shortage of mental health providers, especially in rural and frontier communities. Telehealth makes it possible to receive high-quality psychiatric care without the hours-long drive to the nearest urban clinic. I see patients from across the state - Casper, Cheyenne, Laramie, Sheridan, Gillette, Jackson, and everywhere in between.
All appointments are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video - no commute required, no waiting room anxiety. You connect from wherever you are most comfortable.
What makes my approach different
I take a therapy-informed approach to medication management. That means every medication decision is made in the context of your whole life - your history, your relationships, your goals, and your values. Medication is a tool. I want to understand what it's in service of for you.
I incorporate CBT, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation into our sessions - not as a replacement for therapy, but to make our time together more than just a prescription exchange. If you also work with a therapist, I'm glad to coordinate care when you consent.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is psychiatric medication management?
Psychiatric medication management involves evaluating your mental health symptoms, determining whether medication is appropriate, prescribing and monitoring medications, and adjusting your regimen over time. It is different from therapy - the focus is on the medical and pharmacological side of mental health treatment.
Do I need a referral to see you?
No referral is required. You can book directly through Headway. I accept most major insurance plans and offer self-pay options.
What happens at an initial psychiatric evaluation?
Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation - typically 60 minutes. We'll discuss your current symptoms, history, prior treatments, medications, and goals. You'll leave with a clear understanding of my assessment and, if appropriate, a medication plan.
How often do I need follow-up appointments?
After the initial evaluation, follow-up appointments are typically 30 minutes. Frequency depends on your diagnosis and how stable your treatment is - more frequent initially, then moving to less often once you're stable.
Do you prescribe medications at the first appointment?
Often yes, when appropriate. My goal is not to delay care. If it's clinically appropriate to begin medication after your evaluation, we'll discuss options and start treatment. I don't make you wait unnecessarily.
Can you take over from my previous prescriber?
In most cases, yes. If you've been stable on a medication regimen from a previous provider and need to establish with a new prescriber, I'll review your history and can typically continue appropriate medications.
