The Process

What to expect

01

Initial intake

We'll discuss your symptoms, history, current stressors, goals, and any past treatment. I'll ask questions to understand what you're going through and what kind of support you're looking for. You'll leave feeling understood, informed, and supported.

02

Collaborative plan

Together we'll review treatment options - including whether medication may be helpful - and build a plan that feels realistic and tailored to your needs. Not a diagnosis on a checklist, but a plan for your life.

03

Ongoing support

Follow-up appointments to monitor progress, adjust medication when needed, and continue the therapeutic work. The relationship builds over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide telehealth appointments across Wyoming?

Yes. All appointments are conducted via telehealth, and I am licensed to see patients anywhere in Wyoming - including Cheyenne, Casper, Gillette, Sheridan, Rock Springs, Laramie, Riverton, Cody, Jackson, Lander, and surrounding rural areas.

Do you prescribe psychiatric medication?

Yes. As a board-certified PMHNP, I have full prescribing authority in Wyoming. I evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe medications for anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other psychiatric conditions.

Do you treat ADHD?

Yes. I provide comprehensive ADHD evaluations and medication management, including both stimulant and non-stimulant options depending on your history and needs.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, I am credentialed through Headway and currently accept Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, Independence Blue Cross Pennsylvania, and Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey. Self-pay is also available at $200 for an initial visit and $100 for follow-ups.

What happens during the first appointment?

The initial evaluation is approximately 60 minutes. We will go through your history, current symptoms, goals, and any prior treatment. You will leave with a clear plan - whether that includes medication, therapy-informed support, or both.

Is this therapy, medication management, or both?

Both, in an integrated way. I incorporate therapy-informed approaches - including CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing - alongside medication management when appropriate. Every plan is tailored to what you actually need.

What should I do in a crisis?

This practice is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.
